Rebecca Wild-Wesley, RN, BSN, MA, CMC
Founder and Owner
Rebecca is a gerontologist. Her work in Aging Life Care is informed by her long career as a nurse. In 2019 Rebecca opened Aging Well Providence with a goal to support younger seniors before aging becomes difficult. Over the past years, she has worked with solo-agers as well as families at many intersections of aging, health and disability. As a leader in her local chapter of Aging Life Care Association® – New England, she was instrumental in guiding the chapter through a reorganization during her year as President and continues to serve as Public Policy chair for New England. She is excited to be working in Providence with Baby-boomers as they anticipate retirement, develop encore careers, and deepen their community and spiritual connections. Those who are confident about charting a course for the future by consulting with an Aging Life Care Professional are better able to focus on living today being fully present.
“…the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way.” ― William Hutchison Murray
Living in Providence, Rhode Island and reflecting on the meaning of the noun providence gives Rebecca the foundation for the work that Aging Well Providence offers. Providing for the future, understanding that there will be challenges and setting aside time to anticipate and plan for them is the opportunity that we have before us.
We pride ourselves in our commitment to stay abreast of the ever-changing landscape of senior services and aging research. To this end, Rebecca is a member of the following professional organizations.
